day 147

Day 147
Prompt 147
“If you were all alone in the universe with no one to talk to, no one with which to share the beauty of the stars, to laugh with, to touch, what would be your purpose in life? It is other life, it is love, which gives your life meaning. This is harmony. We must discover the joy of each other, the joy of challenge, the joy of growth.”
- Mitsugi Saotome (b. 1937), Aikido instructor, author

I have spent the weekend re-discovering the joy of my family. We have had a wonderful if wet weekend with delightful friends old and new. The challenges have been more to do with the weather than growth but the challenge has been enjoyable due to the company we were in. The Oxford Ditch Cruising Club, are a friendly, happy, sociable and determined crowd and we are very glad to be a part of such a great group of people.
