Here's me all bright and breezy today off out with the dog at the crack of dawn this morning and then bright as a button all day.

Prompt 278"Reflection"

Well I'll take the opportunity to reflect on DD's birthday week as she hits the magic teenage years this week. She is growing so fast and I don't mean physically. She has her moments as a stroppy teenager at times but on the whole she is a real pleasure. I still marvel in the pure wonder of her, it seems an eternity since she was a totally dependant little babe in arms not just a mere 13 years.

An inset day for DD today and my day off so a trip into Reading, to spend some of her birthday money and a good chat to catch up with her life. So lots of listening from me today, in between mouthfuls at lunch mainly.

Hold is what I'd love to do with both hands and on tightly needs adding to my darling daughter. But I know it's not the way to go , I need to let go and see if she decides to stay around for her own reasons.
